Despite its reputation, I’ve never had a good experience with Yamaha acoustic guitars… Is it just fate?

When people talk about vintage Japanese guitars, it seems like many push Yamaha acoustics. Naturally, I’ve handled Yamaha guitars many times myself, but unfortunately, I’ve yet to find a “winner.” Besides the guitar in the photo, I’ve bought two or three others thinking, “Maybe this one’s decent?” only to end up selling them again.
Yamaha guitars have a slightly unique shape, and combined with the appeal of their original pickguards, I find them very beautiful. The body depth is slightly deeper than 000-type guitars like Morris.
I believe the guitar in the photo is from the L series or LL series, but since I sold it, I’m not entirely sure. If anyone knows, I’d appreciate the clarification. For me, it wasn’t a bad guitar, but it wasn’t one I felt compelled to keep for life.
Still, I really love the shape, so I hope to find a lifetime companion among them someday.
